Meet the owner and director of Learning Squared! Shelly Berryhill is a certified teacher, parent, and community member dedicated to making the educational experience more fulfilling for every student. She recognizes that every child is unique and able to learn if given the proper tools and instructions as well as a heavy dose of confidence! Her methods are diagnostic, prescriptive, and multi-sensory. More than that, they are common-sense approaches that meet the needs of multiple styles of learners. 

     Many of her experiences with education were gained during her professional career as an educator, but some of the most meaningful and enlightening experiences have occurred in the raising of her own four children and the grand-parenting of her three grandkids. Shelly has poured these years of experience into refining the tutoring process at Learning Squared at the Ranch in high hopes that it can be of service to our community and your family.

     Shelly Berryhill graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Reading Specialization. She's spent most of her adult life teaching and tutoring in areas ranging from the public school system to Sunday school to home schooling her four children all the way through high school (by mid-2020, 3 of the 4 will have their own degrees!). Her teaching career actually began in the garage-converted-playroom back in the early 70's with a big green chalkboard and her dolls as her first students! Shelly and her husband, John, have served in both traditional and emerging ministry over the last 30 years.

     She loves having the opportunity to believe in children of all ages, to build a confidence that will serve them as they mature and to see a love of learning grow and flourish in them; her heart is for her own children and for yours as well!
